i've come to accept that i might just be down on luck these days after a series of not-so-good incidents:
1) i've yet to receive my matriculation package due to late admission
2) knowing the terrible truth
3) experiencing major mood swings
4) some cheapo cotton bud came off and got stuck in my ear.

all at once, how ridiculous...

i did a check with jolene the other day and realised that i've indeed miss out something; the online acceptance thingy, that's why i'm being placed under the 'late admission'. now, i bear the risk of not having any school to study.

his sudden changed of status hit me back to the cruel reality that we'r over. i cried even harder this time telling myself it would be the last time. i can't help but to be a pain in the ass to my friends again, shyni had to come over and get me to stop all my nonsense. thanks a million, girl. after all the talking and crying, i think i'm more determined than ever to get him out of my life.

Ta-dah! I've revamped the blogskin. Love the greenish floral design.

I'm not sure if i'm actually feeling happy or tipsy after having the Bailey's liquor teacake & Bailey Velvet Mix. The V Tea Room serves excellent liquor cakes! Although, they'r abit pricey i think they'r definitely worth trying. They should've put up a sign like this: Warning! Serving addictive liquor cakes. Haha. The deco of the tearoom is superb too, everything in the room looks really classy. Serene & I took out our hp and started busily snapping pictures until something caught our attention... a naked, headless, half-bodied mannequin! It's supposed to be part of the tearoom's deco.

Hai..I really need to go on an ultra-saving mode.

p.s.: serene, i've updated. =)

The instructor was telling us how dangerous it is to be a motorcyclist during today's theory lesson. He said all motorcyclists have this 'garang' attitude when riding which makes them more accident prone. And soon after the lesson, we saw a car and motorbike accident right at the bbdc's entrance. From what i know, the car was making a turn into bbdc while it hit into the bike heading straight. The hit wasn't that bad, the driver definitely got out unscathed but i'm not sure about the biker though. Maybe some minor injuries... And upon seeing this accident, the bus uncle got lots to say *faints* he started yada-ing.. saying that the driver was in wrong and how he should give way to the vehicle going straight especially when it is a motorbike. So, poor us have to listen to his lecturing all the way back to the mrt station. Not only that, his hand was flying around while he happily lectured leaving only one hand on the steering wheel. Can you imagine how self-absorbed he was? *shakes head*

My diet plan isn't working! I thought i can finally skip today's dinner but instead i'd a super late dinner cause my dad insisted it. aye i will never go on an empty stomach with him around.

Happy Birthday.

I'm blogging at such weird timing because i'm still waiting for my hair to dry. Just caught a midnight show and guess what? it was FULL house. We were seated at the 3rd row so it was quite tiring having to lift up your head all the way (as if i never felt so proud before) till the end of the show. Phew..lucky that the show is nice and so it was all worthwhile. Johnny Depp is sucha brilliant actor!

Anyway i haven't been able to blog for the past few days cause my room are being occupied by my aunt and cousin who are here for a short vacation. So for the time being, i'll have to put up with sleeping in my sis's room. Not that she's intolerable to be with but i'm used to having a room to myself and would like to have some time where i can live in my world of thoughts. But other than the lack of personal space, i kind of enjoyed myself for the past few days touring around Singapore and eating my heart out. I forgot when was the last time i had so much fun. Getting a ride on the glass cable car to Sentosa, walking in the park with countless of butterflies fluttering around, visting the Underwater World where i get to spot the lovely Sea Angels and my all-time-favourite jellyfish and getting the chance to take a photo with the Pink Dolphin. It makes me feel like a child again! The trip definitely cheered me up although at some point of time he came into my mind upon reaching some familiar spots.

Today, it was another long and fulfilling day. It was Kbox session followed by a tour around Singapore River and Clarke Quay. It was like WOW when i reached Clarke Quay, didn't know it had changed so much..argh i feel so unsingaporean la... But i love that place! so many posh restaurants and pubs! I've fallen with one of these Arab cafe there..they've got pretty unique lamps hung at the entrance and the deco inside the cafe make it looks nice and cosy. should be pretty good place to chill out..they even got seeshay(did i spell it correctly?)!

It's 5am in the morning and i'm still wide awake. Just had a long talk with jingjuan, kaijian and matthew. A sudden urge to pour out our woes so as to feel better knowing that we aren't facing our problem alone. Besides, it's really hard to get the guys out these days since they need to spend most of the time protecting the country.

After the talk, I've came to a realization.. that is each and every one of us has got their share of problems and it's just how you handle it. You may be surprised to know that the always happy-go-lucky-friend you'd known has got his/her own troubles too. Just that he/she have been keeping it well all along. Like what kaijian said, "Behind every smile. There's sorrow that's kept inside."

I shall just face it and let it go once and for all.

You were right in front of me but i'm afraid to look you in the eyes. We just stood there for a few seconds and let the silence fill the gaps between us. We parted without a word and as i walked away my heart sank alittle... unknowingly i became overwhelmed by a sudden wave of sadness.

I asked myself...Is this the end?

Had a mini graduation celebration with a group of friends at Holly's place on Sunday's evening. The guys were exceptionally nice that day, they did most of the job and got the food lay out nicely on the table. While, the girls (except me who's busily reading the mag *embarrassed smile*) helped out alittle. It feels good to be able to meet up and have dinner with people whom i don't get to see often... like xueni, mingshi and chanleong. After the heavy dinner, we played a round of UNO before proceeding on to the most exciting game of the night: Game of Life. Xinzhan is definitely not a multi-task person...he almost went crazy when he had to handle the task of the banker and at the same time playing as the accountant. We ended off the game with Serene as the big winner of the night! After clearing up the mess we'd made, i headed back home. Up till then i was really enjoying my day but something just have to come up to screw my day.

Met up with Shyni today to go back school for our graduation certificate. She's still the same, looking more vibrant due to her new found love. =) We happened to bump into James who had just end his lesson for the day so we headed down to town together. James suggested going for a movie but we did a change of plan to have an afternoon tea at Leonidas instead since Shyni can get a discount there. On our way to Raffles City, we met Adolphus and his friend. What a small world huh? They were meeting Basil and friend at PS so we ended up tagging along with them. We settled our dinner at Secret Recipe as Shyni was having a sudden craving for cheesecakes. I finally get to try the hottest Marble Cheesecake in town but i must say i still prefer the Fiesta Cheescake(less cheesy). During dinner, the guys were talking about how they like to smell girls and what are the various techniques used. It was hilarious la...

Everything was okay until i added him back to my contacts. I realised all these while my feelings had just been numbed. The pain and hurt hasn't really go they are still there haunting me. I wish there's something i could do to stop all this. Seriously it's driving me crazy. Promises i'd made to myself is once again being broken. emotionally drained.

i feel like crying out loud...

[edit]
forget about it. this is just one of those emotional breakdown that i've yet learn to cope with. it's time i put an end to all this.

Hasn't been doing much ever since i got back from Taiwan. Cooping up at home watching series seems to be quite an enjoyment for me these days... at least i get to lie comfortably on bed with the air-con on at full blast, oblivious of the heat outside. I suppose im still consider a homely person. (Guess) I have had enough of shopping after coming back from the trip.. i dread the thought of walking around with handful of paper bags. Also, im too broke to even think of going for shopping.

Anyway, i met up with deborah, matt and kj for dinner at my all-time favourite NYDC yesterday. It has been some time since we last saw each other so there'r lotsa catching up to be done. The guys shared with us many of the amusing stuffs they've encountered while serving the nation...i must say matt's sergeant has got a creative mind to be able to come up with so many funny names for each of them. All these sounds fun but upon hearing their daily physical training... all i can say is they'r really the man la! haha. After dinner, we headed off to Suntec for a walk since they were having the midnight sales. Reached home around 12 plus just in time to watch the most exciting part of the soccer match between England and Portugal. Penalty! A pity that England didn't get in... i suppose Portugal's goalkeeper is too good. But from what i see their Portugal players are still not up to standard...how could they kick out of the goal post twice? Anyway, C.Ronaldo made the last golden goal sending England back home. Phew...Nice game!
