Wednesdayyet another, joyous occasion. Singapore's 41st birthday! i love festive season cause it gives me every reason to gorge on good food. screw the calories! finally got to meet up with Ryan for a late lunch at takashimaya. the 70 driving practicals (read: 70) he took definately didn't come to waste, at least he managed to drive up/down the slope to/from the carpark safely without stalling the engine and having the car to roll down. so i shouldn't worry so much too cause it's okay if i were to take up to 80 practicals to get my driving license. haha! alright la, i should stop the mocking. afterall, he was trying to give me some encouragement. anyway, not long after that heavy lunch, i found myself gorging on more food at fish & co. this time it's with holly, serene, xueni, mingshi and xinzhan. after dinner, we joined the crowd at esplanade, hoping to catch a glimpse of the fireworks but somehow we missed it. alittle dissappointed. nevertheless, i still got home happily with a fully loaded stomach. =)
Thursday nothing can stop me from shopping, really. bought a top from forever21. saw two really pretty dresses but i'm too broke! hai can't wait for school to start cause it means resume of my monthly allowance. i felt a great sense of satisfaction today cause i took the great effort to mop the house and clean the toilet. don't ask me why, i don't know what came into me. after the sweeping, mopping and scrubbing i felt like i had just shed off the calorie of a cake! lol okay. exaggerated. perhaps just the calories of an itsy bitsy slice of cake.
