Happy christmas!
I had a fantabulous festive season this year. =)
On the eve of christmas eve, met up with the kj & matt to do a last-minute xmas shopping. Was supposed to go to the nearby Giant to get our stuffs as i need to be at east coast by 5 and 'someone's' complained that his leg need a rest too. So i just wore a t-shirt and 3/4 pants grabbed from the wardrobe. When i got into the car, the boys gave me their cheekiest smile and told me they were heading down to vivo. Of course, i was smart enough to know that they'r joking la. *smirk* But who knows, Giant's carpark was FULL! Ha Ha. how nice? and thus a sudden changed of plan, we zoom off to vivocity. Yes, in my casualwear. that will be the second and the last time walking around town underdressed. Do you hear that, tan kj? Next time, i'll be all prep up even if u tell me we'r going seng siong. lol.
I ended up being late for mh's 21st bday party. But it was kinda like a blessing in disguise, rc cldn't make it to the party at the very last min and i had to meet him to pick up the present and by the time i reached eunos, the gals were on their way to the bbq pit. I was at a total lost, not knowing what bus to take to east coast and i thought since im running late i might as well take a cab down. On the way, i called shyni to ask her the exact venue and that poor gal had not reached and was still cycling on her rented bike. The other gals had already reached the pit with their bikes. It so happened that mh's bbq pit was far far away from where we thought it were (~15min car ride from eastcoast macdonald). So u could imagined how tiring it was for the gals to cycle all the way to the pit. And i was lucky enough to escape that... It was nice seeing the gals again and it set me into reminiscing mode.. how i miss the poly schdays. We were happily taking photos along the beach and before we knew it, it was already 11! Our chances of getting on the last train was small like pea... and whats worst was that none of us know the way back to the mrt station, given that the gals had already returned their bikes. So we just walked aimlessly until we saw a busstop. We hopped onto a bus and wt helped to check out the buses we could take with her bus guidebk. The journey back home was hilarious la! We embarrassed ourselves by running after buses and squealing upon seeing the bus we'd wanted to take moving ahead of the bus we'r in. The other commuters must have see us like some fools. haha. bestie shyni stayed over at my place that night! we decided to have some fun, so we put on our pyjamas and took TONS of silly photos. After the whole photo whoring, we tucked into bed, had a nice girly talk and fell aslp. =)
Xmas party! This time we had 2 sections of food: fried fingerfoods and steamboat. BIG thanks to daddy & mummy for the preparation! =) As evening came, the house was packed with people: daddy's friends, sister's friends and mine. I think we had like 30 people sardine-packed in the house at one time! haha but still i had a great great time! happy yuppy!
